According to THR, Supernatual‘s Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester) has been cast in the lead role as Walker. Walker is a reboot of the 90’s Chuck Norris TV series, Walker, Texas Ranger. This means Jared Padalecki will stay working at The CW after 15 seasons on Supernatural.
Cordell Walker is a widowed father of two. After being gone with undercover work for two years, Walker will have to reconnect with his children while further investigating his wife’s death. He will partner with a new (rare) female partner.
