Warrior-Con Coming to Fort Leonard Wood November 2nd

Geek conventions are not just for civilians.  Our Military service men and women deserve a KOOL convention themselves.  Their family members deserve a chance to cosplay and attend conventions just like everyone else.

Warrior-Con is coming to Bruce C. Clarke Library at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. on November 2, 2019.  Fort Leonard Wood, MO will be from 10 AM to 3 PM on this Saturday.  Warrior-Con is a part of the Army MWR Libraries’ Fantober Celebration.  The cost is FREE.

Bruce C. Clarke Library is at 14020 MSCOE Loop, Ste. 200 Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473.  Warrior-Con is open to the public. All library services will be closed on the day of the event.

Warrior-Con will give the attendees a chance to learn about local artists, authors, vendors, gaming, and cosplay.  It is open to fandoms of all types.

You can register for Warrior-Con here online or by phone 573-596-6913 or in the Pershing Community Center.  If you don’t have regular access to Fort Leonard Wood, you need to complete an application online here.  (sponsor email; loralee.neubeck.naf@mail.mil ,  sponsor organization: MWR/BRD/IWE)

Geeky KOOL will be highlighting more about Warrior-Con in the next few weeks.  Make sure to check it out and if you can attend,

Stay Geeky!
