Peter Capaldi was asked to help out the educational charity Cecily’s Fund. They are auctioning off Report Cards of famous people to raise money. You can go to the Cecily’s Fund Ebay page to bid on different Report cards.
Pete Capaldi decided to do something fun and creative. Instead of submitting one of his old report cards, he created a report card for the Doctor. As you can see above, he was a great student of fighting Daleks but needs a lot of work on manners. (Via The Mary Sue and Radio Times)
I applaud the awesome creativity of Capaldi. This was a stroke of genius. This report card is bound to bring in a huge pay day for the Cecily’s Fund. Any fan would love to own this original but few of us with be able to pay the eventual high price that it will surely bring.
The other thing Peter did was instantly endure himself to Whovian and non-Whovians alike. This can only be positive for the Doctor Who series that will have a middle aged doctor for the first time since the series was restarted. Some of the fans weren’t excited about the announcement of Capaldi as the new doctor. But this is the fun and creativity we all love with our Doctor.
