Star Trek: Picard to Stream for Free on Youtube (Limited Time)

CBS All Access wants you to check out the first episode of Star Trek: Picard without having to buy their service.  As is true with any free sample, they are hoping you will watch this episode and decide you cannot live without this series and start (or renew) a subscription to CBS All Access.  You can watch the free episode here on Youtube but for only a limited time (unknown how limited).

CBS All Access is a streaming service offering CBS series and Paramount movies for your viewing pleasure. You can watch a new episode of Star Trek: Picard on Thursdays for the Ten Episode run. You can have all of this for $5.99 a month.

Patrick Stewart returns at Captain Jean-Luc Picard (title character).  This is a role Stewart portrayed amazingly for seven years on Star Trek: Next Generation.  This series takes Picard from the Captain’s chair to living life back on Earth but with a need to go back and bring some of his old friends with him.

Several of previous Star Trek characters return for this series.  This includes Data, Hugh, Riker, Troi, and even Star Trek: Voyager’s Seven of Nine.  New Characters are also added to the cast.

I haven’t watched the free episode yet.  I plan on checking it out this weekend. I have no plans of getting sucked into another streaming service just to watch Star Trek that doesn’t even take place in the original universe.
