After years of rumors, wee finally have confirmation of Spaceball 2. The Mel Brooks lead teaser trailer revealed this movie will happen. This has fans excited.
The teaser trailer didn’t reveal the cast other than Mel Brooks return. Speculation and hope that many of the original cast would return. According to Deadline, both Bill Pullman and Rick Moranis are confirmed to return.
I was not surprised by Bill Pullman joining the cast. He is also bringing his son, Lewis Pullman, of Thunderbolts fame to the project. But Rick Moranis was a surprise. Moranis stepped away from acting in the late 90s. He stepped away to raise his family after his wife, Ann Belsky, passed away.
It will be amazing to see Moranis return as Dark Helmet and Pullman return as Lonestar.
