HOLY Crud! It is true. The awesome Sid & Marty Krofft female hero dynamic duo, Electra Woman & Dyna Girl, is being rebooted into an awesome web series. Legendary Digital, Fullscreen, and Sid & Marty have partnered with Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart to reboot this classic kids superhero series.
As a young kid in the 70s, I loved most everything Sid & Marty Krofft put out. Electra Woman & Dyna Girl were my favorite mini show on the Krofft Super Show (Hour). It was only next to Land of Lost as my all time favorite Krofft show.
I have gone back and watched some of the old episodes. They are very 60s Batman like. They don’t hold up as well as the old Batman series but they are still fun.
I am very excited that we are getting a serious reboot of Electra Woman & Dyna Girl. I can’t wait to watch this web series.
Legendary Digital and Fullscreen have partnered with YouTube phenomenons Grace Helbig and Hannah Hart in an updated version of Sid & Marty Krofft’s classic 70s TV series Electra Woman and Dyna Girl, bringing the property to a new generation of viewers. ELECTRA WOMAN & DYNA GIRL follows two superheroes Electra Woman (Grace Helbig) and Dyna Girl (Hannah Hart) as they move from Akron to Los Angeles in hopes of making it big in the crime fighting world, only to find competition with other vigilantes and infighting amongst themselves. Both Helbig and Hart have large social media followings with a combined total of over 10 million subscribers and followers over all of their YouTube and social media platforms.
