Keiynan Lonsdale has been cast as Wally West for the CW’s series, The Flash. Wally joins Joe and Iris West. In the comics, Wally is the nephew of Iris.
Wally was exposed to the same type of chemical plus lightning surge that gave Barry his powers. After Wally was exposed, he took on the identity of Kid-Flash. After Barry dies in the Crisis, Wally takes up the mantle of the Flash.
Keiynan Lonsdale is known for his role on Insurgent, the second chapter of the blockbuster Divergent franchise.
This is exciting news for fans of The Flash TV Series and Wally West. I cannot wait to see how they bring in Wally and if he gets super powers too.
