Actor Max Von Sydow passed away on Sunday May 8th at age 90 at his him in Provence, France. Von Sydow was iconic actor who made his mark all over Hollywood. The Swedish actor began his carreer in the 1950s and continued acting until a few years ago.
He was known for portraying Jesus in The Greatest Story Ever Told. He was Ming The Merciless in the 80s Flash Gordon movie. He played Doctor Kynes in Dune (1984). He may be most remembered as Father Merrin in The Exorcist. He played so many iconic roles, we couldn’t mention them all here.
Rest in Peace Max Von Sydow. You were a master craftsman and you will be missed.
