Peter David passed away on Saturday May 24, 2025. David suffered with several different health issues including Kidney disease. The announcement of his passing didn’t specific the cause of his death but appears complication of health issues were most likely the cause. He was only 68 years old.
Peter David wrote comic books, novels, television, films, and video games. He wrote several Star Trek comics and books including the New Frontier book series. He worked on TV series like Babylon 5, Young Justice, Ben 10: Alien Force, and Nickelodeon’s Space Cases. Peter David was best known for his comic book writing. He had runs on Aquaman, Young Justice, SpyBoy, Supergirl, Fallen Angel, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, and X-Factor. He co-created Miguel O’Hara and Spider-Man 2099. He is probably best known for his 12 year run on The Incredible Hulk.
