According to Newsarama, NBC will not renew Heroes Reborn for another season. Heroes Reborn was a sequel series to the speedy hit and short-lived series, Heroes. Heroes Reborn promised to bring another chapter into Heroes mythos. The original series ended on a cliff hanger and this series filled in the gaps.
Little speculation occurred in the beginning that Heroes Reborn might become more than a one short season. When the ratings never burst through for Heroes Reborn, no one anticipated another season.
According to NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt, there no further plans for Heroes. He would consider it if Heroes creator Tim Kring told him that Kring had another chapter of Heroes to tell.
