The popularity of the Doctor has been felt on this side (USA) of the “Pond” (Atlantic Ocean) for some time. With the launch of the 12 (or 13th Doctor – depends on if you count the War Doctor), many Americans tuned in on Saturday. 2.58 million viewers tuned in to watch the New Doctor call us all Pudding Heads and to see a giant T-Rex in the River Thames.
This is the top rated Season Premiere for any BBC America series. Leave it to the Doctor to break the record.
