OzCon is this Weekend in West Plains

The fifth annual OzCon will take place this weekend in West Plains.  The doors open at 1 PM on Friday April 27th.  This 3 day convention goes through Sunday April 29th at 5 pm.  It will be held at the  West Plains Civic Center, 110 St. Louis Street, West Plains, MO 65775.

Every conventions has a different flavor and feel. This is definitely more of a computer, gaming, and cosplay convention.  Below is what OzCon says about itself.

Oz-Con is a gaming, cosplay and anime convention nestled in the Ozarks. The convention is hosted by Missouri State University-West Plains Computer Graphics and Programming department as well as the local chapter of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery). This non-profit event will be held at the West Plains Civic Center. The three days of awesomeness will have a little bit for everyone including Anime, Cosplay Events, MTG, Warhammer, Warmachine, Role Playing games, and much more. Come help support a good cause, browse the vendors and meet the celebrities on April 27th – April 29th, 2018. (Via OzCon)

Geeky KOOL will be covering OzCon on Saturday.  I will be covering this awesome event for Geeky KOOL.  I will be wondering around talking to people, taking pictures, and attending awesome panels.

I have had several recommendations for Geeky KOOL to cover OzCon.   Lots of friends have told me personally that it is a must attend event and to cover.  We plan on attending multiple days next year.
