The weekend of March 29-31, 2019 will be a huge weekend in the Convention world. Next year, three large conventions will have their convention on this weekend. WonderCon and C2E2 and Planet Comicon Kansas City will happen the same weekend.
Because they are on the same weekends, fans will have to pick which convention to attend. Creators won’t be able to attend but one of these fine conventions. Comic publishers will either have to pick or split up their presence. This is a definite challenge to all of these conventions.
Geeky KOOL has covered both C2E2 and Planet Comicon Kansas City. We will have to pick which convention to attend next year. Since it will be Planet Comicon Kansas City, we will probably select that convention.
