The Showtime series, Yellowjackets, which can be watched on Paramount+ with Showtime, just wrapped up season 3. Showtime announced season 4 has been green lit.
Yellowjackets is a psychological horror, a survival thriller, and a coming-of-age drama all mixed together. It focuses on a girls high school soccer team that crashed in the wilderness back in the early 90s. It flips back and forth from the teen girls attempt survive and the horrors and supernatural aspects of the wilderness and the survivors in modern times. The ladies that survived have numerous issues of their own.
Yellowjackets has become a hit series for Showtime/Paramount+. Season Three had their highest viewership with the finale of season 3 having 3 million global viewers in seven days.
This series is weird and KOOL and so odd. I loved the first season but so far I am unable to stream season 2 and 3. This series is not for all ages.
