Geeky KOOL is heading to St. Louis for Wizard World St. Louis from March 22-24. We are very excited that both Valerie and I will be covering the convention for Geeky KOOL. On Saturday evening March 23rd, I will be hosting a panel for Wizard World. The Panel is : Geek Girls- Who Are They and Are they Real?
No, I have not changed my gender. I am lucky to be the lone male with a wonderful panel full of geeks who are also females. Geeky KOOL’s own Valerie will be a member of this fine panel. Our panel will represent much of geekdom including: comic collectors, steam punk maidens, cosplayers, web series actress, gamers, and more. This panel is a fantastic way to the end the day at Wizard World.
Below is the summary of our panel.
This panel of ladies will discuss their perspective on being a geek and what it means to them. They will have a conversation some of their challenges with being a geek girl in the male dominated geek subculture, including the geek “test” from geek guys. We will explorer the topic of the “Fake Geek Girl” and if they believe “Fake Geek Girls” are amongst us. Come relax, have a good time, and listen to these ladies share their views on geeks and Wizard World St. Louis.

So excited.. Not only is this my first convention but my first panel!
