It has been four years since season 3 of Sailor Moon Crystal (Revival series aka reboot). Instead of creating a fourth season, there will be two follow up movies with Sailor Moon Eternal. This will be a two part movie with the first part on January 8th 2021 in Japan. Part 2 will be released on February 11th 2021 also in Japan. There is no confirmation of when it might come to the United States.
These movies will adapt the the Dead Moon arc of Naoko Takeuchi’s original Sailor Moon manga series. This was adapted in the original Sailor Moon anime series of the 90s but added a lot of filler.
