I am a huge Stargate fan. I love the original movie. I have watched every episode of the three different Stargate television series. I really dig this series and concepts.
I am excited that a new series will be added for Stargate. MGM announced a new 10 episode prequel series, Stargate: Origins. It will focus on Catherine Langford, the daughter of Professor Langford. We meet Catherine Langford in the first movie. She recruits Daniel to break the code for the Stargate. She was in Egypt with her father when it was dug up. I am not sure what adventures she could have had with the Stargate since they couldn’t dial out but maybe someone did dial in previously.
This series will be a streaming video on demand series. Price to watch the series is unknown. Along with the series, MGM announced Stargate Command website. The website StargateCommand.co will be an interactive site along with the place to watch the episodes.
I am definitely interested in this series. But the cost has to be right. It is good that they aren’t having a month streaming service but rather a one time on demand cost.
