A.J. and I led The Geek In All of Us panel at Oz-Con. We asked the incredible Keith Moncrief of Pop Culture Minefield to join the panel with us.
The discussion focused on our pasts. We conversed about what got us into the geek or nerd mode. My father was a comic book reader all of my life and then Star Wars pushed me way over the the top.
Our children was one of the big discussion points. We talked about the various geeky things we did with out kids. The three of us all found what our kids were into and tried to join in with them.
This was a fun and pretty relaxed panel. It was great to have Keith and A.J. in there with me.
