Morbius is a new Sony movie coming out in 2022. It is set in the Spider-Man Universe. Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but when his experiment goes wrong, he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead. In the comics, Morbius is a Spider-Man villain who sometimes will help Spidey as an anti-hero.
The Morbius movie will star Jared Leto as Morbius. Matt Smith and Adria Arjona also star in this film. Michael Keaton will reprise his role as Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture.
Because of COVID, this movie has been moved around numerous times. It was set to open on January 28, 2022. It has now been moved to April 1, 2022.
