Michelle MacLaren will direct the 2017 Wonder Woman movie. MacLaren is no stranger to directing action, sci fi, and fantasy. She will now take her skills to direct the Amazon Princess- Wonder Woman. MacLaren is known for her directing of Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, and Game of Thrones.
MacLaren was Warner Bros top choice to direct this movie. Having a female director with MacLaren’s background is a bonus to direct Wonder Woman. After all, Warner Bros and DC were previously quoted as saying that Wonder Woman would difficult character to bring to the big screen.
I think Michelle MacLaren is a perfect person to bring the complex character of Wonder Woman to an action Superhero movie.
