Way back in 2008, I was excited about the new mini series that Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale were going to put out. Previously they created three awesome and unique story miniseries with SPIDER-MAN: BLUE, DAREDEVIL: YELLOW, and HULK: GRAY. I excitedly had my comic book store pick up a copy of CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE #0. It would the be prequel of an awesome Captatin America story. I just knew it. The #0 issue was exactly what I was looking for. I made sure to have the store put the upcoming series on my list.
Flash forward seven years. CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE has become my joke with one of my buddies (Bryan Crockett) and the man comic guy at the local store where we go. This series never happened after the wonder #0 issue. Every few months, one of us has to mention this series that never happened. We pined for the series that we had hoped would occur seven years ago.
Marvel, Tim Sale, and Jeph Loeb must have finally heard our discussion. This anticipated series of 2008 will finally start hitting selves in September of 2015. It will be a five issue miniseries. According to Marvel, it will come over in a five month period. We will not have to wait Seven years between issues.
I could have a bad attitude about how long this has been hanging out there. My tastes have changed some in those seven years. But I also know how much I loved the #0 issue. Their Spider-Man: Blue mini series was simply fantastic. Looks like I will be reminding the comic book store to look for CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE .
CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE #1 will be $4.99 for the issue. It will be 64 pages long. It will contain a copy of CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE #0 since it has been seven years since it hit the stands. CAPTAIN AMERICA: WHITE #2 will be 32 pages long and will cost $3.99.
