Just when you think every Hollywood icon has taken a turn playing Saint Nick, action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger is stepping into the suit! Prime Video has officially dropped the teaser trailer for The Man with the Bag, an upcoming holiday heist comedy set to spread some serious Christmas cheer.
Directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray, Disenchanted), the film follows Santa Claus (Schwarzenegger) after his iconic magic bag of toys is stolen by a vengeful rogue elf (Awkwafina). To save Christmas, Kris Kringle turns to his “naughty list” and recruits Vance (Alan Ritchson of Reacher fame)—a reformed thief and former burglar—to pull off a high-stakes North Pole heist and get the bag back before Christmas Eve.
This marks Schwarzenegger’s big return to holiday cinema 30 years after his classic 1996 festive comedy Jingle All the Way, where he raced across town as a desperate dad hunting for the elusive Turbo Man action figure. This time, Arnold is trading the dad duty for the red suit himself—proving that when he told Christmas “I’ll be back,” he meant it!
