Originally debuting in 2007—long before modern streaming platforms were the norm—The Guild followed the chaotic lives of a ragtag MMORPG guild called The Knights of Good. While most online gaming groups keep their interactions strictly behind a screen, the show kicked off when these socially awkward guildies were forced to interact in the real world.
What started as an independent TV pilot script quickly transformed into one of the first true viral web series hits in history, eventually sweeping major awards shows with six Streamy Awards, four IAWTV Awards, and millions of devoted fans worldwide.
Back in the Game (and at the Ren Faire)
The Guild Reunion Movie: Ren Faire’d catches up with Cyd “Codex” Sherman (Felicia Day) and the rest of the original cast over a decade later. This time around, the crew trades their gaming chairs and headsets for corsets and broadswords as they reunite in person at a Renaissance Faire—leading to the exact kind of awkward, high-stakes comedy fans have missed.

To bring this long-awaited revival to life, Day and the team launched a official Kickstarter campaign—and the fan response has been overwhelming. With 26 days left in the campaign, the project has already more than doubled its original funding goal!
