When Prelude to Axanar was released in 2014, the plan was to make a full length film telling the story of The Four Years War, and how Starfleet defeated the Klingon Empire. Instead, what we got was a Lawsuit from CBS/Paramount, a Settlement allowing two more 15 minute episodes, a cross country move to the Atlanta area, multiple film shoots and dedication from Alec Peters, Crysstal Hubbard, Dana Wagner and a crew of talented actors and film crew.
On the final day of San Diego Comic Con(SDCC), 12 years of perseverance and dedication gave us, the premier of Axanar:The Gathering Storm on YouTube and at Digital Theater in Downtown San Diego. In the two days since it was released on YouTube the film has been viewed More than 111K times with more than 10K “thumb up”.
The Final film in the series titled Axanar:Crucible will be released later this year. I has been filmed and is currently in post production.
Congratulations to everyone at Axanar Productions for proving the small band of “Haters” wrong again, and releasing the next part of the Axanar Saga.
