Paper Girls is an adaption of the comic series by Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang by the same name. I love this comic. . Our heroes 12 year old girls from the late 80s that time travel and have an adventure. It is full of science fiction goodness. The adaption on Amazon Prime had the same feel and premise.
Amazon Prime has decided not to pick up this series for a second season. This is sad news for me. It was amazing. On Rotten Tomatoes, it has critics 90% rating and an audience rating of 88%. It is being shopped by Legendary Television to be picked up by another streaming service.
If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor and go out and watch it on Amazon. It is more than worth your time.
