Here is an image of the new Batmobile from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Zack Snyder released this image yesterday. What does this image of the Batmobile say about the Batman we will see in this movie? I am not sure but it does seem dark and violent.
It reminds me somewhat of 1986’s comic, The Dark Knight Returns. In that comic miniseries, the older Batman has a mini tank version of a Batmobile. It even fires rubber bullets from a machine gun mounted on the Bat-Tank. You will notice on the hood of this Batmobile, there appears to be two machine guns.
I am not sure what this Batmobile means for the new Batman. Will he be willing to shoot and kill people? Will he have rubber bullets like the Dark Knight Returns? We will have to see.
I do wish it would have looked closer to the 1989 Batmobile or even the Batmobile from the Animated series. But that is just my preference.
