This weekend’s VisionCon is shaking out to be an amazing time. Here is a link to the schedule for this three-day convention starting this Friday.
Here are some highlights of what I am seeing on the schedule. There is a ton of KOOL panels and activities that I won’t be able to cover them all. But wanted to point to a few things that should be awesome.
At noon on Friday the 13th, we have the Online Preshow. This happens before things are even official.
3 pm on Friday is the official Open Ceremonies for VisionCon. This starts off the three-day festivities.
Friday at 6 pm brings Halloween to VisionCon. Happy Halloween is a new movie coming out from our good friend, Brittney Greer. This is your chance to have Q&A with some of the film creators a week before it opens.
The Band, Transylvania, will play their aggressive 80s style metal for the conveniont at 7:30 pm on Friday.
Saturday at 10:30 am will have a Bat’leth Tournament. This Klingon battle technique will be on display with this single-elimination tournament. It will be a good day to die.
Clever Kaiju, our artist friends, have a Q&A on Saturday at 1:30 pm.
Lego Master Guest Q&A at 3:00 pm. Kara Fletcher and Greg Tull will answer questions about their experiences on Lego Masters.
6:00 pm on Saturday will have Japanese Fary Tales. This session is full of kid-focused tales of fun from Japan.
On Sunday at noon, check out Chainmail 101. This is a demonstration of how to make English 4 in 1 chainmail, on display will by the tools to work with and chainmail to see and feel.
Our friends over at Fanatics and the Fan have a live session at 1:30 pm.
There are tons of other KOOL things to do during the convention. Tomorrow we will talk a bit about gaming at VisionCon.
