I have been keeping up with this feature and it does look like it may be interesting. It is based on a stage play called A Vampire Story so there is a strong emphasis on the characters, but this is definitely different than an Anne Rice adaption, or should be. I am glad to see director Neil Jordon take on another vampire film. The movie got a lot of positive buzz on the festival circuit so hopefully it has something to help breathe some fresh air into this genre.
