Twitter may increase the character count of a tweet from 140 to 10,000. The famous 140 characters count may get a change that many didn’t see. It appears Twitter might be changing to a more Facebook like social media. Twitter has 300 Million users but is far behind Facebook’s 1.55 Billion users.
Twitter has made other recent changes. It added a While You Were Away feature which shows users interesting tweets since the user was on. Moments is an alternative timeline with news, entertainment and sports specific to the user.
This news caused Twitter’s stock to fall to an all time low at $21.89. Twitter stockholders are uneasy about these changes.
