CBS has offered the first real peek at its upcoming Star Trek: Picard series in this teaser trailer. At only one minute it doesn’t give us very much information but it does offer some look into the life of Admiral Jean-Luc Picard after he leaves Star Fleet. We see vineyards and a case of Chateau Picard wine. What seems like a picturesque peaceful retirement for the Star Fleet officer, may not last long. I mean I don’t know if that movie would have enough action to warrant a Star Trek movie/series. I mean I would still watch but I may be in the minority. Lol

The female voiceover lets us know it has been 15 years since Admiral Picard left Star Fleet and seems to be inquiring as to the reasons he left. There is no release date tied to Star Trek Picard yet but is one of many vaguely teased shows that say Coming Soon…
We have been told it will stream on CBS All Access in the US, Crave in Canada and Amazon Prime Video everywhere else.
