According to Mikey Sutton at Geekosity, Sony and Disney have come to a long term deal to keep Spider-Man in the MCU. They have struck a deal that is all but set in stone. This will allow Kevin Feige to plan his slate of movies in advance. This provides a mutually beneficial partnership for both Disney and Sony.
This deal not only will have Spider-Man in the MCU. it will bring over other characters. There are plans to bring in Venom to be a part of the MCU. Morbius is planned to follow.
Mikey Sutton is known for his insider information. He broke Spider-Man: No Way Home would have the three Spider-Men an have several returning villains from other Spidey Franchises. He nailed that story like he does numerous other ones.
