Warner Bros announced the superhero sequel film to SHAZAM! SHAZAM! 2 (yet to be officially named) is set for release on April 1st, 2022. Zachary Levi is set to return as the fourteen year old orphan inside of the adult superhero.
SHAZAM! was a success for Warner Bros in bringing a light hearted magical superhero to the big screen. It resonated with some DC Comics fans who were not into the dark DCEU universe.
