Growing up in the 70s and the 80s, Schoolhouse Rock! was an essential part of our Saturday morning cartoon watching for my sisters and myself. We would turn the station quickly to ABC after the end of one cartoon to catch Schoolhouse Rock! We hoped and prayed for our favorite songs. Such great memories and I learned more than I thought I did by watching these education animated song videos.
Schoolhouse Rock! turns 50 this year. In celebration for this, ABC will have a Schoolhouse Rock! 50th Anniversary Singalong special on Wednesday, February 1st at 8/7c. It will be available to stream on HULU on February 2nd. Ryan Seacrest will host this sing along.
Celebrities and bands will perform these songs for us to sing along with. Here is the list:

“A Noun is a Person, Place or Thing” will be performed by the stars from Disney’s Broadway productions of Aladdin, The Lion King, Newsies, and Hercules.
As a big fan of Schoolhouse Rock!, I am excited for this. I hope someone will do the theme song for Schoolhouse Rock!.
