Paramount Expands G.I. Joe Movie Universe with Other Hasbro Series

In the 80s, the Hasbro toy company had several popular cartoon and comic book series based off their toylines.  One of Hasbro’s most popular cartoon and comic book series was G.I. Joe.  Paramount and Hasbro teamed up bring G.I. Joe into two live action movies.

Hasbro and Paramount have expanded their agreement to add several more Hasbro series into a shared universe with G.I. Joe.  Interrelated characters and stories will flow through the Universe.  Paramount and Allspark Pictures (Hasbro film label) will bring characters from Micronauts, Visionairies, M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand) and ROM.

ROM and Micronauts were popular Marvel comic books.  Visionairies and M.A.S.K. were 80s cartoons.  It is unknown if each of these series will be individual movies or crossover into the G.I. Joe movies.

The Transformers movie series is also Paramount and Hasbro.  It is unknown if Transformers will share a universe with the rest or if they crossover.
