Tomorrow is the day. Planet Comicon Kansas City 2026 starts on Friday at 1:00pm. It will be an incredible time.
It features a massive lineup of stars from some of the most iconic franchises in film, television, and music. Here is a highlighted list of celebrities scheduled to attend the event this weekend (March 27–29).
The “Fellowship” Reunion
To celebrate the legacy of The Lord of the Rings, the convention is reuniting key members of the original cast including the ring bearers and the KOOLest Dwarf.

lijah Wood (Frodo Baggins): The heart of the trilogy, Wood is also known for his roles in Sin City, Wilfred, and Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.

Sean Astin (Samwise Gamgee): A fan favorite who also starred in 80s classic The Goonies, Rudy, and more recently, Stranger Things.
