For the metalheads and rockers in the Midwest, this weekend’s Planet Comicon Kansas City is serving up something truly special. Two pillars of the legendary band Iron Maiden—frontman Bruce Dickinson and drummer Nicko McBrain—will be appearing all three days (March 27–29) at Bartle Hall.
While there isn’t a full-band concert on the schedule, the opportunity to meet these icons in person is a rare treat. Here is everything you need to know if you are planning to make the pilgrimage to their tables.
📸 Photo Op & Autograph Pricing
Fans have the chance to grab individual shots or go for the ultimate “Maiden Duo” experience.
-
Bruce Dickinson Photo Op: $125.00
-
Nicko McBrain Photo Op: $85.00
-
Iron Maiden Duo (Both Bruce & Nicko): $195.00
-
Bruce Dickinson VIP Experience: $260.00 (This includes a dedicated autograph, a photo op, and a special badge/lanyard).
Note: Autograph prices at the table typically range from $80–$100 depending on the item being signed.
🎤 Is There a Panel?
Currently, there is no band-wide panel scheduled for the Grand Ballroom stage. However, keep an eye on the Planet Entertainment Zone (PEZ) and the official app for potential “spotlight” Q&As. Bruce Dickinson is famously one of the best storytellers in rock, so you won’t want to miss it if he takes a mic!
🤘 Collector’s Tip
If you are bringing items to be signed, remember that Nicko McBrain is a fan favorite for signing drumheads and sticks, while Bruce is often happy to sign his memoirs (What Does This Button Do?) alongside classic Maiden vinyl.
I am hoping Eddie might be with Bruce and Nicko this weekend. Either way, they will both be troopers.
Stay Geeky and ROCK ON!
