Ah, spooky season. The wind is chilled and you can feel the magic circling around you. This time of year always brings out the giddy me. Colorful costumes, monsters are the norm, candy is an earned treat. What a great way to lead to my birthday on November 1st!
Like many adults my age, I grew up with specials for all the holidays. Halloween was no exception. I will admit; my list will be very clean because I cannot handle anything remotely scary or with guts and gore. LOL! So, if this list is lame to you, I apologize!

- The “Hotel Transylvania” movies
- Casper Meets Wendy
- Halloweentown movie series
- The live-action “Scooby-Doo” movies
- The Muppets: “The Haunted Mansion” special
- Mary and The Witches Flower (Although “Kiki’s Delivery Service” is my favorite anime witch movie of all time)
- Twitches movies
- It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown special
- The Nightmare Before Christmas (although I mostly like it for the music)
