“War Dogs” is a day in the life of a small time, legal international arms dealer—mostly legal arms dealer—until they turn big time. With big time comes big lies and big ethical gymnastics, and we watch as greed turns a good deal bad.
A good cast made for a fun, dramatic movie. An Oscar winner it is not, but entertaining and eye opening, “War Dogs” shows the corrupting power of greed. Always remember to treat the secretary and custodians, the trash collector and the box maker with respect because they have the power to bring the biggest power players down. These gentlemen should have learned that lesson earlier.
Grade: B+
