I love a good Kickstarter project. I meet comic book creator Brian Lau at C2E2 in 2015. He made a wonderful inpression on me. I picked up Staunch Ambition Issue #0 at that time. I could see the influence of Orson Scott Card and Douglas Adams as we chatted.
I will review issue # 0 in the near future. I will review issue #1 when I recieve it.
Lau has a science fiction vision for a fantastic story. It involves science, technology, and the supernatural. Check out the philosophy of the story and the video below. The Story:
Out of the enlightenment, both science and technology are born anew. As mankind continues to advance in scientific knowledge, breakthrough upon breakthrough compound, exponentially. Through this new technology, mankind is able to transcend its physical limitations by passing through the thought dimension and entering the supernatural.
