Images from LibraryCon

LibraryCon was a huge success.  You can see by the above picture that the entryway to the Library Station was packed with people.  It stayed this way the whole day.

Any convention can be a little scary for someone new the the Geeky Convention scene and above is a little scary ghost.

The allusive Catwoman was at LibraryCon.   Was she there to steal the collection of Jack Kirby comics?  Could be!

Cosplay is awesome. When you get to cause play a cool character like the Orange Pirate from your favorite writer’s novel, you do it (Especially when that novelist is your son).

I think it is a Good Omen that we have an angel in our presence.  Ummm.  A frog on the head isn’t a good thing but still we have Aziraphale and his Flaming (not lost) sword.

Oh, I spoke too soon.  A lot of versions of both Crowley and Aziraphale. I hope we can prevent Armageddon.

Straight out of Wakanda, we have Dora Milaje presence.   Nakia is here so we suspect that the Black Panther cannot be far behind.

It was a blind date at LibraryCon.  The Joke is on her.

What an awesome look.  This armor is amazing.  We received an up close look after the picture.

It is a great day when you can dress up, hang with friends, and carry a sword.

The Doctor is in the house.  She gave me a buster shot.  I am feeling much better now.  Look at the pretty Colors.

It was time for an Ice Cream break at LibraryCon.  Scoops Ahoy has the best ice cream and it is always an adventure.  Anyone hearing the Neverending Story song being sung?

Rey and Kylo have to team up.  I think they want some Scoops Ahoy from above.

They’re creepy and they’re kooky
Mysterious and spooky
They’re all together ooky
Snap, Snap

There were some great panels and fun at LibraryCon the image above and blow were from panels about Doing Fulltime Work but Part time.

Both of these panels were inspiring as local creators are living their dreams of creating art or comics or novels while working a full time job.  They shared their secrets.

The last panel of the day had the amazing Jared George showing us how to create our own mini comics.  Jared was worn out from drawing free sketches but he was still an awesome teach.

LibraryCon was amazing!  I have come to have high expectations of this small one day convention and they never fail to deliver.  Thank you to all of the staff and guests of LibraryCon for making their 5th anniversary awesome!

Stay Geeky!
