On April 5, 2063, (51 years from now) we make first contact with aliens (according to Star Trek). The warp signature of Dr. Zefram Cochrane’s ship, The Phoenix, will attract the attention of a Vulcan ship T’Plana-Hath. First Contact will take place in Bozeman, Montana in the evening. This will lead a great alliance between the Vulcans and Humans and eventually bring about the United Federation of Planets.
On other April 5th news, today is my son’s 3rd birthday. It is a special Day all around.
