Grant Morrison has been a mainstay at DC Comics for along time. The Scottish comic book writer is ending his 17 year run on DC Comics. He has worked for DC a total of 29 years starting back in the 80s. His work on Animal Man, Doom Patrol, and All-Star Superman. Morrison has been the editor-in-chief for the comic based mature magazine, Heavy Metal. Morrison has been doing a lot of work on television series and novels.
Morrison is best known for thinking outside of the box with comics. He is always trying new things and telling stories in a different manner. Sometimes, he tells a story in manner that fans have a difficult time following. Personally, I had a real difficult time following his story in his Final Crisis mini series.
Morrison is stepping away form DC Comics to work on some other projects and take a break. His last story will be the upcoming limited series, Superman and the Authority.
