Chris Claremont is my favorite writer. He wrote amazing stories for the X-Men and New Mutants back in the 80s and early 90s. He was an inspiration to me and helped develop my love for writing and my desire to be a comic book writer.
Chris is at Planet Comicon Kansas City. I met him last year and had him sign some comics. This year I got in his line to get his signature on some comics (It does cost $10.00 a signature). One of the issues I had him sign was Kitty Pryde and Wolverine miniseries #1. This comic led to Chris making an announcement to the whole line.
Chris, who has come back to Marvel to write some X-Men stories from time to time. He has written a new Kitty Pryde and Wolverine mini-series for Marvel. The first issue will be out in June.
This is super exciting news for a fan boy like me.
