Captain America 13′ Bronze Statue at SDCC

Marvel Comic and Comiccave will unveil a 13 Foot Captain America statue at San Diego Comic Con.  The statue is to honor Captain America’s 75th Anniversary.  If you plan on attending San Diego Comic Con, you can stop by the Marvel Booth #2329 to see the statue and get your photo taken with it.

For those of us that will not attend SDCC, the statue will find a home in Brooklyn. Brooklyn is Steve Rogers’ hometown.  For two weeks, the statue will find a home at Children’s Corner of Prospect Park.  Afterwards, the statue will have a dedication ceremony on August 10th from 1-3 pm.

After a half-month stop in Prospect Park, the Captain America statue will move to the plaza outside Barclays Center on Atlantic Avenue for September, during which exciting Marvel fan activations will take place. October through the remainder of the year, the statue will adorn the atrium of the soon-to-be opened “Beyond” flagship location in Industry City. There, fans of all ages will enjoy a special re-designed statue base, perfect for photos!  (Marvel.com)
