Actor Felix Silla passed away at age 84 from pancreatic cancer. Silla was a just under four foot tall actor and stuntman. He immigrated from Italy in 1955.
Silla mad a name for himself with numerous roles. He is best known for playing Cousin Itt on the live action 1960s The Addams Family. He was Twiki on Buck Rogers and the hand-gliding Ewok on Return of the Jedi. He was on the Bonanzaepisode “Hoss and the Leprechauns,” and in 1965, he was in “The Cage,” on the pilot episode of Star Trek. He was in several movies including Planet of the Apes, Demon Seed, and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
