Demigods, assemble! Fresh off a massive panel presentation at San Diego Comic-Con, Disney+ has officially confirmed that the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is heading back to the screen—and taking on one of the most beloved books in Rick Riordan’s bestselling series.
Marking the very first time this story has been adapted for live-action, Season 3 adapts The Titan’s Curse. The stakes hit an all-time high when Annabeth Chase (Leah Sava Jeffries) and the Greek goddess of the hunt, Artemis (Dafne Keen), are mysteriously kidnapped by the forces of Kronos.
To save them, Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) and Grover Underwood (Aryan Simhadri) must form an uneasy alliance with the Hunters of Artemis and new demigods to stop the rising Titan army before Olympus crumbles.
As revealed in the jaw-dropping first teaser trailer shown to fans, this season takes a significantly darker and more dramatic turn. One of the most haunting images teased shows Percy stepping in to hold up the crushing weight of the sky—taking the place of the mighty Titan, Atlas (Holt McCallany).
