The third Spider-Verse animated film has been delayed. The new release date is June 25, 2027. Will have to wait just a little longer to see Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
Viewers were left on a cliffhanger with the ending of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. That was back in 2023. Will Miles be able to save his father when the rest of the Spider-Verse is trying to fix the set point “Canon Event” where Miles saved his father. Miles will also have to face his other self in a universe where the other Miles works with his criminal uncle aka The Prowler.
The first two movies were “Amazing” and “Ultimate” (yes, pun intended). I hope the delay does take away from the story. The delay sure will get some people out of mode of this version of Spider-Man.
