When we love something, we don’t want it to end. Book series, TV shows, movie franchises, moments in time. Anime is no exception. Some animes either exceed their expiration for entertainment for their characters OR do not give us enough of what the characters or fans need or want! Both are annoying, but I wanted to discuss the latter. So, I chose the Top 25 Anime Series I have seen in their entirety that I felt did not complete the story they beautifully crafted. SEVERAL of them have mangas that are much longer. That’s SOMETHING I will NEVER understand; when you have a successful series (manga in this case,) then WHY NOT turn the WHOLE THING into ANIME? You already have a script that works; you just have to anime and voice cast it! *Tries to hide internal rage and face-palming* *Sighs* Phew…sorry! ANYWAY! =D The series in ITALICS are ones where the mangas have more to tell with these beloved characters.
You can click on the names of the ANIMES to get information on their plots to see if you’re interested. ^_^ Which animes do you think deserve more seasons? Leave me a comment; let’s ‘geek’ out, otaku style, together!
25 Animes that Need More Seasons:
Cardcaptor Sakura Clear Card,
Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles (The first anime I watched that had an ambiguous ending and made me MAD for it! It deserves more!)
Ouran High School Host Club (one of my favorite groups and couples need to have their full story shown!)
Monthly Girls Nozaki-kun (The dense nature of the male love interest is REAL!)
My Love Story,
Yuri on Ice (It ended nicely, but I want more with this precious couple and ice skating contests!)
Snow White with the Red Hair,
Yona of the Dawn,
Kiss Him, Not Me!
Death Parade (they really had some great ideas, but it was rushed and not developed. Would love to see their elements played out.)
Love Stage (want to see more of this beloved couple since they are starting a new… stage in their relationship!)
Violet Evergarden (This show is so endearing. The world needs more adventures through Violet’s eyes.)
School Babysitter Club’s,
Kotaro Lives Alone (I NEED ANSWERS AND I WANT MORE OF MY LITTLE BOY!)
Sanrio Boys (This is marketing gold: hot high school guys promoting ‘Hello Kitty’ characters… it’s a no-brainer!)
Fight for the love of your series! Stay geeky!
