The Wizard of OZ is a classic. Almost everyone has seen it. It is a part of our culture even though it hit theaters in 1939. Judy Garland became a huge star for her role as Dorthy.
According to Variety, New Line Cinema will try to recapture that magic that hit over 80s ago with the original movie. Nicole Kassell will direct this new adaption of L. Frank Baum’s beloved novel. It will pull some elements from the original movie.
