The Transformers movies have added in their 90s cartoon version with Beast Wars. This is the seventh live action Transformers film and bring in the Maximals, Predacons and Terrorcons into the mix.
I hadn’t really enjoyed a Transformers movie since the first one until I watched Bumblebee. Bumblebee demonstrated to me that they can make a good Transformers movie with a decent plot and fun effects. I could actually tell the characters apart when they transformed into their robot versions. I had a lot of problems telling the differences the robot versions in prior movies. The trailer for this one is very clear who Optimist Prime and Arecee.
It premerires in theaters on June 9, 2023.
